How will I get paid?

Payment is made as soon as the rental marketplace company e.g. Airbnb, TripAdvisor pay, usually a maximum of a couple of days after the guest checks in. You will then receive a monthly statement transparently showing your income for each month.

 How will the guests collect the keys?

We will either setup a lockbox for your property or a member of the team will meet the guests at the time of check in.

 What if there is a maintenance issue at my property?

As previously mentioned, we have a network of plumbers, builders and handymen who will be able to fix most issues at short notice.

 Is my home insured for loss or damage?

The main platforms such as airbnb provide a host guarantee which covers all hosts up to $1 million USD. We recommend each host charge the guest taking out a damage deposit for smaller claims such as stains, furniture damage etc. This is a refundable deposit which the guest pays alongside the booking.

What personal belongings should I leave in my home?

We always recommend that items of high monetary or sentimental value be removed from your home. You can leave other personal belongings in the home provided they are stored away and leave sufficient space for guests to unpack their belongings and utilize the property.

We encourage hosts to leave decor and photographs in the home as these helps to create a welcoming environment.

What do I need to provide as a Host to get started?

Your property needs only the basics. We’ve summarized these below.

If you don’t have any of these, let us know and we can arrange them and charge you upon completion:

  • At least one bedroom.
  • Pillows, duvet, mattress protector, curtains, lamps, clothes storage, hangers.
  • Kitchen.
  • Toaster, kettle, microwave, cafetiere, bin, basic condiments for cooking, cutlery, plates, bowls, cups, glasses, pans, pots.
  • Bathroom.
  • Hair dryer, toilet brush, toothbrush holder, small bin.
  • Living room.
  • Iron and ironing board, mop and bucket, vacuum cleaner and bags, cabinet space for towels and guests’ toiletries.
  • At least 3 sets of keys, wi-fi, heating and hot water.
